VEHICLES I AM ASSOCIATED WITH IN THIS LIFE
This page will hold musings on the vehicles I’ve owned, driven, ridden-in, or otherwise been associated with.
TBT, I have owned, been a passenger or worked on many vehicles over the years. The best I’ve owned is my Porsche 928. Thank you, PORSCHE!!!
Also, fond memories of the Dodge Chargers I owned; a 1968 and 1969.
To define this a bit more, I like speed.
In various levels and forms over the years, I liked running; cross-country & track, baseball, football and simply life itself always held fascination, joy and fun. I don’t believe I have anything other than memories of those early times so I must confine myself to vehicles, which I have pictures. More will be added to this and associated pages.

The ‘best’ vehicle I’ve owned is the Porsche 928. In its day the Porsche 928 was considered an “Exotic”. On the level of the Lamborghini and Ferrari and boutique models. Production started in 1978 ending in 1995 after a 17 year run. From the “OB” (original body) model to the last model (the GTS), the line was one of the best Grand Touring vehicles ever.
My example (MY’81) was used as a track toy and thrashed. Meaning everything needs refurbished or rebuilt. Yet, leather “belt” interior and a strong V8 under the hood signifies it is a 928 and it’s my project. The journey is as exciting as the result.
My favorite is the OB version [MY’78 to MY’86]. Like the stance, the angles, the lines of the body, the look and the ‘attitude’. Really like following it down the road, yet, if one is driving the ‘OB’ following it is very hard to do…
